Quantum Mechanics and Technologies in Space

The ESA study "Quantum Mechanics for Space" aims at identifying impotant technologies for future space missions, which either investigate scientific issues related to quantum physics or use it as a means for achieving other goals.
As the study specification mentions, new technologies based on QM, as well as new tests of QM based of new technology developments have seen a steady increase over the past years, and there is now a need of roadmap for futures European developments for applying both the new technologies and concepts in space, where on one hand further tests will be attainable and on the other hand QM based devices will reach their ultimate performances.
