Collaboration between researchers in research networks is of great importance to Humboldt-Universit?t zu Berlin. Networks combine different skills and strengths and lead to innovation. In addition to Berlin networks, nationwide and international cooperation, collaboration with partners from the business world is also relevant, especially with regard to the research and business landscape of Berlin and the surrounding area.

Humboldt-Universit?t zu Berlin is a hub for international cooperation and prides itself on maintaining a broad spectrum of collaborations, ranging from informal partnerships on an individual level to formalised strategic partnerships.

International partnerships

An-Institutes

Affiliated institutes are legally independent institutions that are closely linked to the university through a co-operation agreement. They expand the academic programmes of a university by conducting research and providing further education in specific subject areas. Humboldt-Universit?t currently co-operates with six affiliated institutes.

Innovation and technology transfer at Humboldt-Universit?t forms the bridge between science, business and society. We make new knowledge visible and usable - with the aim of developing solutions for current and future challenges. Humboldt Innovation brings research directly into application.

Die Skulptur zeigt einen gro?en, stilisierten menschlichen Kopf, der auf einem modernen, geometrischen Sockel steht. Der Kopf ist aus einem hellen Material gefertigt, das an Stein oder Beton erinnert, und ist von zahlreichen horizontalen, wellenf?rmigen Linien durchzogen, die die Gesichtszüge wie Stirn, Augen, Nase und Mund andeuten. Die Linien verlaufen kontinuierlich über die gesamte Oberfl?che, wodurch ein flie?endes, fast hypnotisches Muster entsteht. Die Augen sind geschlossen.
