Academic institutions

The Campus Dahlem is home to the Thaer Institute's Horticultural, Crop and Livestock Sciences departments and their teaching and research stations. Scientists conduct research here on topics such as sustainable food production, animal welfare and agricultural climatology. Students are trained in Agricultural and Horticultural Sciences, International Master in Horticultural Sciences and in Agriculture and Horticulture.

Library

A large part of the monograph and journal holdings in agricultural and horticultural sciences can be found in the branch library on the North Campus of the University Library. However, due to the fact that agricultural sciences are an interdisciplinary science, relevant literature can also be found in other branch libraries of the University Library, for example in the Erwin Schr?dinger Centre in Adlershof (e.g. geography) or in the Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm Centre (e.g. economics).
