Two qualified psychologists offer you free and confidential individual counselling in German, English and Turkish. In addition, we regularly organise workshops and events that can support you in your study and life situation. Whether your concerns are related to your studies, personal challenges or your mental health – you don't have to be alone – and together we will find ways to find more relief and new strength.
We are here for HU students and doctoral candidates.
Individual counselling sessions
In a confidential - often one-off - conversation, we take the time to look together at what could help you the most in your current situation: be it a conversation, a first step towards change, guidance or a suitable contact point.
How & where?
We offer counselling sessions online and in person in our counselling rooms in Mitte and Adlershof. A counselling session usually lasts 60 minutes.
Cancellation: If you are unable to keep an appointment with us, please cancel in good time so that other students still have the chance to book! You can simply make a new appointment at any time.
To arrange online counselling sessions, please use our booking platform. You can book free appointments there yourself.
You will need a mobile phone number and an email address.
- Choose, whom you would like to see.
- Select a "reason for your visit". This is only a first, very rough orientation for us as to what we can expect in the conversation.
- You will now see the next available appointments max. 2 weeks in advance. Look for a suitable date or switch to the other person to see if there is a better date available.
- Enter your personal data
Note: It is not necessary to register with Doctena for this. Health insurance details are not relevant for us, as the consultations are not billed via health insurance and are free of charge for HU students and doctoral candidates. Nevertheless, the "Doctena" system designed for doctors' surgeries requires you to click on an option relating to health insurance, so select something. - You will receive an SMS with the TAN to confirm the desired appointment.
- You will receive a final confirmation from us personally by e-mail – only then can the appointment actually take place.
Note: Please allow one hour for the consultation.
Note: The consultation booked here takes place via Zoom and can be attended with or without a picture. The link to the Zoom meeting will be sent separately by e-mail (please also check your spam folder). Zoom data protection is guaranteed.
Doctena also follows the guidelines of the EU GDPR. If you would still like to remain anonymous, please let us know when you contact us by telephone during open consultation hours or by using any email address via the contact form.
You can also reach us outside of telephone consultation hours via our contact form.
