Leonie Kubigsteltig

Leonie Kubigsteltig has been working as a program manager for knowledge exchange at Zentrum für Kulturtechnik since December 2023.
Previously, she was employed as program curator for Urania Berlin e.V., delivering exhibitions and events centering on democracy, education, participation and sustainability. As a curator and project manager, she supported a program of digital interaction at the Berlin Wall Foundation and the strategic diversity development at the German Hygiene Museum Dresden.
She read cultural studies and artistic practice at Hildesheim university and theater studies at Bochum university before completing a vocational training in contemporary dance at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance (University of Leeds). After completing a Master of Arts in Movement Directing and Teaching at Central School of Speech and Drama (University of London), she worked for many years as a theatre practicioner and director, collaborating with community groups and young people.
Since graduating from the professional development program in theater management at Munich university (LMU) in 2012, she has been focusing on advancing diversity development, representation and participation in arts and culture.
