Humboldt-Universit?t awards scholarships to Master's students with strong research skills on their way to a doctorate.

Humboldt-Universit?t zu Berlin (HU) is once again awarding Humboldt Research Track Scholarships this year. The six-month transitional scholarship is an offer to outstanding students at Humboldt-Universit?t to help them make the transition from studying to a doctorate.

Students who do not have a HU degree but wish to do a doctorate at Humboldt-Universit?t are also eligible for funding. Prerequisites for sponsorship are excellent academic performance and a doctoral project of high quality and originality. The funding amount is 1,000 euros per month for a period of six months. In order to open up the path to a doctorate to a larger number of people with disabilities or chronic illnesses, applications from this target group will be given special consideration.

Applications can be submitted from 1 December to 15 January 2026 for funding to start from 1 April, 1 May, 1 June or 1 July 2026.
