25 years of the Berlin Programme for the Promotion of Equal Opportunities for Women in Research and Teaching (BCP)

BCP has been promoting equal opportunities for women in research and teaching for 25 years.

The Berlin Programme for the Promotion of Equal Opportunities for Women in Research and Teaching (BCP) promotes equal opportunities for women in research and teaching and has developed into an important instrument of equal opportunities policy at Berlin's universities since its introduction by the Berlin Senate.

At the conference at Humboldt-Universit?t zu Berlin (HU) to mark the 25th anniversary of the programme, the results of the evaluation will be presented under the motto "Review and Perspectives", offering workshops, a panel discussion and an outlook on the next funding period.

The conference "25 Years of the Berlin Equal Opportunities Programme - Review and Perspectives" will be opened by Dr Ina Czyborra, Senator for Science, Health and Care, and Cansel Kiziltepe, Senator for Labour, Social Affairs, Equality, Integration, Diversity and Anti-Discrimination. A highlight of the event will be the opening of the exhibition "Vers?umte Bilder - Wissenschaftlerinnen und Pionierinnen sichtbar machen" with pictures by Gesine Born in the foyer of the main building of the HU.
