Science prize for Robert Arlinghaus

The Stifterverband honours Robert Arlinghaus for his work on the ecological, economic and social aspects of inland recreational fishing.

The Stifterverband has announced this year's winners of the €40,000 "Research in Responsibility" science prize: Robert Arlinghaus, Professor of Integrative Fisheries Management at the HU and the Leibniz Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries, is being honoured for his work on the ecological, economic and social aspects of inland recreational fishing. Lena Hipp from the Social Science Research Centre Berlin receives the award for her research on social inequalities related to gender and care responsibilities.
