Description
The Ume and Pite Saami Documentation Project aims at documenting Ume Saami and Pite Saami, two acutely endangered languages in Sweden. In this, the project will record and transcribe current language practices for archival purposes as well as create dictionaries and sketch-grammars. The project is part of the Endangered Languages Documentation Project (ELDP) the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) at the University of London and is funded by Acadia.
