“The legal life of urban spaces” (Postdoctoral fellowship in Program “Rechtskulturen: Confrontations Beyond Comparison” of the Forum Transregional Studies)

This project is an inquiry into the workings of law in contemporary city making. Through an analysis of the troubled transformation of Berlin’s neighborhood of Neuk?lln, the project seeks to conceptualize how in space and through space, new urban social orders are negotiated and societal norms remodeled and displayed.
