Description

The unemployment risk of low-educated employees has increased tremendously since the 1970s. This project analyses empirically the factors that have led to this phenomenon. The analysis follows the so-called task-based approach to assess how technological changes in recent decades have increased the unemployment risk of the low-skilled. One important part of the analysis focuses on service occupations, and assesses to what extent they have the potential to reduce the labor market risk of the low-skilled.
