Power and legitimization of religious speech. Interreligious and interdisciplinary perspectives on preaching

Two international conferences are planned on the question of the power (politics) of preaching and the legitimization of corresponding claims. The associated questions, both historically and currently relevant, are to be discussed in an interdisciplinary, interreligious and transcultural comparative manner. In this way, the planned conferences will also make a contribution to comparative preaching research, which is currently still largely a desideratum.
