Critical edition and annotated translation of the Syrian universal chronicle Bar Ebroyos, including the Continuationes

The aim of the present project is to revise both the critical text of the Continuations with apparatus and the translation eventually preparing a philological introduction. Priority is given to the Continuations due to the more advanced state of the work. The second objective is to prepare a critical edition of the Chronography drawn on the collation of the Syriac text accompanied by English translation and a historical and philological introduction.
The results of the complete collation have given awareness of the amount of this enterprise: still, the goal can be achieved in further 24 months.
