Description
Micro RNAs (miRNAs) are small regulatory RNA molecules. MiRNAs are synthesiszed as inactive hairpin-shaped precursor molecules. The latter are cleaved by a ribonuclease called Dicer to form the active miRNAs. Our goal is to inhibit this miRNA maturation step by small molecules.
