GenderCompetenceCentre

The GenderCompetenceCentre is a transfer-oriented research unit located at Humboldt University Berlin, in the Centre for Transdisciplinary Gender Studies (www.gender.hu-berlin.de) and at the Faculty of Law. The Centre works at the interface of gender research and equality policies; it hosts an interdisciplinary team who work on legal, administrative and diverse policy aspects of gender equality. The Centre is an academic institution and a site of gender competence - it aims at quality assurance in the implementation of Gender Mainstreaming.
