Project description
Subproject 1 (SP1) of DFG Research Unit (RU) 5187 "Towards precision psychotherapy for non-respondent patients: From signatures to predictions to clinical utility" will evaluate the predictive value of routinely available sociodemographic and clinical baseline information to identify patients at risk for treatment non-response using state of the art machine learning methodology. We will establish a prospective-longitudinal observational cohort with primary internalizing disorders as the key target population for cognitive-behavioral treatment (CBT) in the outpatient setting. Functioning as recruitment hub for this RU, patients will, in addition, be deeply phenotyped by several other subprojects. This cohort will then set the stage for multimodal single-case prediction of NR in ecologically highly valid setting, thus owing potential to directly inform clinical decision making.
