Project description

The planned study combines research on mimicry and narcissism in relation to the formation of friendships. The research questions focus on the role of emotional mimicry in the development of liking in general and the course of liking for individuals with elevated narcissism scores in particular. To this end, groups of participants will be invited to the laboratory on multiple occasions to engage in discussions. The development of attitudes and liking over this period will be recorded and linked to mimicry during the discussions and personality.
