Project description

Humboldt University of Berlin, the Berlin State Museums, and the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin are jointly dedicated to researching the history of Berlin's Kunstkammer as the nucleus of today's Berlin museum landscape as part of the DFG-funded research project “The Window to Nature and Art: A Historical-Critical Examination of the Brandenburg-Prussian Kunstkammer as an Observatory, Laboratory, Communication Space, and Showroom of Knowledge.”
