Bridging the affect- Portraying woman?s trauma in the cinema of Iran and post-Yugoslavia?

In her doctoral research Marija Katalinic aims to undertake a comparative analysis of interpreting memory, culture and media in a transnational context of post-Yugoslavia and Iran. Here I will be looking at the trauma narratives of these two post-conflict spaces represented in the visual and hence create a interdisciplinary and transnational reading of trauma, memory and cultural simultaneity in these two regions.?
