At the Delhi History Congress, organised by The History Collective, Prof. Dr. Judith Becker gave the inaugural lecture entitled "Searching for Peace in a Peaceless World: The World Student Christian Federation and World War I".

Prof. Dr. Judith Becker gave the inaugural lecture entitled "Searching for Peace in a Peaceless World: The World Student Christian Federation and World War I" at the Delhi History Congress, organised by The History Collective, a professional body of historians, teachers and researchers in India.

The Delhi History Congress is dedicated to addressing various aspects of history and heritage, and intends to provide a platform for senior researchers as well as early-stage scholars. This year it focused on four themes: Inequalities and Institutions, The Social and the Quotidian, Crime and Punishment, and Myth and Reality; the inaugural panel was centred around the theme of Imagining a peaceful world and co-existence. The Delhi History Congress took place in cooperation with the India International Centre and brought together a good 100 academics.
