Fran?co-Ger?man Par?lia?ment In?tern?ship

Are you interested in French politics and parliamentary practice in France? Are you a German citizen who speaks French at a very good level? Then the Franco-German Parliament Internship is for you!

This internship gives you the opportunity to experience France’s political processes first-hand: for the first half of this ten-month programme, you'll be studying at the renowned Sciences Po University, and you’ll spend the other half working as an intern with members of the Assemblée Nationale. In the courses at Sciences Po, you will gain a theoretical insight, after which you will support the parliamentary work of members of the Assemblée Nationale. You will support the work in the office, prepare committee and plenary meetings and accompany parliament members to appointments. In this way, you not only acquire theoretical knowledge, but also experience political processes and parliamentary democracy at close quarters! The programme is for anyone with German citizenship who has at least a bachelor's degree (or equivalent), is interested in French politics and speaks French at a very good level.
