Technical department

The Technical Department of Humboldt-Universit?t zu Berlin is responsible for all facility management tasks in the university sector. In addition, it offers services and platforms for the organisation and implementation of study operations.

Administration

Portfolio and Space Management Unit (A)

The portfolio management area includes services such as requirements planning and space management, leasing and letting, property sales and the financial accounting of building-related costs. The portfolio management area includes the cost and performance accounting of the technical department and the tenant-landlord model.

Property Management Unit (B)

Property management is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all technical systems and for the management of building-specific services such as cleaning and security, including caretaker services.

Construction Management / Construction Projects Unit (C)

Construction Management is responsible for the planning and implementation of all construction measures, building maintenance and site development planning.

Technical Service Department (F)

Technical Services covers the entire operational area of facility management for all areas of responsibility.

Procurement unit (G)

The Procurement Office is responsible for purchasing supply services for all areas of the university, from checking the availability of funds to the tendering of services and invoice processing.
