Governing Bodies' Office (PB1)
The Governing Bodies' Office in the Presidential Department of Humboldt-Universit?t is responsible for the administrative activities of the central university committees. This includes the following tasks:
- Preparation, organisation and follow-up of committee meetings as well as taking minutes
- Advising and supporting committee members and advising the university's faculties and institutions on committee matters
- Supervision of commissions and working groups of the central committees that cannot be assigned to a VP area
- Organising and monitoring the composition of the commissions of the central committees
- Advising the faculties on the implementation of appointment procedures and quality assurance of the procedures

Occupational Safety, Fire Protection and Environmental Protection Unit (PB2)
The Department of Occupational Safety, Fire Protection and Environmental Protection at Humboldt-Universit?t zu Berlin is responsible for the implementation, coordination and further development of central protection and safety tasks within the entire university area. It supports and advises the Institutional Leadership and Management as well as managers in all matters relating to occupational safety, health, fire, environmental, radiation, laser and animal protection.

The tasks of the Strategic Planning Office are
- Supporting the Presidium in fundamental cross-departmental matters
- Project management for interdepartmental innovative and/or strategic projects
- Coordination of processes for the implementation of Humboldt-Universit?t zu Berlin's measures within the framework of the Berlin University Alliance funded by the Excellence Strategy, including financial controlling, committee support, internal communication
- Contact person for Humboldt-Universit?t faculties and institutions for all matters relating to the Berlin Excellence Alliance and contact person for the Berlin University Alliance office for the implementation of measures at Humboldt-Universit?t zu Berlin
