Course structure and content
The bachelor’s course teaches fundamental insights and skills in all sub-disciplines of Sport Science (the focus is not on students actually participating in sport; the corresponding abilities are a prerequisite). Teacher training is a special focus whose significance is underlined by a dedicated Chair for Didactics in P.E. Partnerships with schools enable students to scientifically analyse their future role not only in the seminar room, but also in live situations. This also gives them their first experiences to reflect on. Successful completion qualifies students for a teaching-related Master's degree in sport.
