6. How is the survey integrated into the KOAB project coordinated by ISTAT? What is the cooperation with the National Graduate Panel about?
The graduate survey is integrated into the Cooperation Project on Graduate Studies (KOAB), which is coordinated by the Institute for Applied Statistics (ISTAT).
Every year, about 50,000 graduates from about 80 universities are surveyed as part of this nationwide research project. In this way, among other things, the survey results of individual fields of study can be compared with a suitable benchmark.
?
7. How can I participate in the survey?
The survey is conducted exclusively web-based. You can access the online questionnaire using your personal access code, which will be sent to you by post.
?
8. What happens during the online survey?
When participating in the online survey, you log in to the anonymized online survey using your access code via an encrypted connection. During the survey phase, your answers are initially stored on a server at ISTAT. After completion of the survey phase, the survey data will be processed by ISTAT and statistically analyzed within the framework of higher education and graduate research. In addition, your university receives the survey data for its own evaluations.
?
9. What happens with the addresses of the graduates?
The graduates are invited to participate in the survey by means of a letter. For this purpose, HU needs the addresses of the graduates. Since the addresses stored at the university at the time of graduation are not always up-to-date one year after graduation, the addresses are updated with the help of the residents' registration offices.
?
10. How long will the collected data be stored?
Address data is deleted immediately after the survey is completed.
The survey data is deleted at HU eight years after collection.
?
11.?What rights do I have as a graduate with regard to the data collected as part of the survey?

Results of already completed surveys are published on the pages of the QM Office. The results from the survey of HU graduates are incorporated into the quality development of teaching and learning at Humboldt-Universit?t zu Berlin. In addition, the survey data of the HU graduates, together with the survey data of other German universities that participated in the KOAB project, will be evaluated by ISTAT and published in an aggregated form in a report.

13. Whom can I contact if I have further questions?
